  1. Prepare and review work orders for the crews, approve & post completed work on a daily basis.
  2. Schedule and route work for all Landscape Construction crews.
  3. Teach, train, and review with crews how to produce quality work efficiently and safely. Work hands on with crews to train and perform at high level.
  4. Run weekly tailgate meeting with crews. Periodically run or assist bi-weekly staff training/safety meeting.
  5. Inspect all projects and complete pre-completion inspection, develop initial punch list and assign any rework or corrections to crew to be completed in a timely manner.
  6. Make sure all stock and bulk yard materials are ordered, delivered and maintained at adequate levels to ELITE shop. Coordinate needs and cost allocation on shared materials with other departments.
  7. Order, schedule and coordinate all plant and landscape materials.
  8. Verify Dig utility marking requests were made one week prior to start of scheduled project.
  9. Monitor and verify crews are following their daily/weekly duties.
  10. Ensure efficient and safe use of equipment and tools.
  11. Manage tools and equipment fleet: Review, delegate and assign equipment repairs and preventative maintenance to mechanic, employees and/or service providers.  Coordinate and clearly communicate with crews, mechanic and service providers as is required to facilitate.  
  12. Hold subordinates accountable for their performance and promote, praise and discipline as necessary.
  13. Assist designers and estimators with cost estimates for proposals and change orders.


  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in landscape or construction field
  • Experience leading and training other people
  • Experience planning and scheduling work
